Hi could anyone tell me the dosage of pour on Ivermectin for large fowl and bantams. Also do you have to throw eating eggs away if so how long. Thank you

There is a study (see below) that shows ivermectin as an ineffective wormer for poultry. If you still want to use it, the Pour-On dose is .5mg/kg (.1ml per 2.2 pounds). Safeguard or Valbazen would be better choices for wormers.

Ascaridia = roundworm
Heterakis = Cecal worm
Capillaria = Capillry worm

Ivermectin as a bird anthelmintic--trials with naturally infected domestic fowl.

Oksanen A, Nikander S.
Abstract

To evaluate the use of ivermectin as a bird anthelmintic, 29 White Leghorn hens naturally infected with Ascaridia spp., Heterakis spp. and Capillaria spp. were treated with 0.2, 2 or 6 mg/kg intramuscularly or 0.2 or 0.8 mg/kg orally. Faecal samples were collected before treatment and at autopsy, 2, 6, or 16 days after treatment, when the intestines were also examined for helminths. None of the treatments gave satisfactory anthelmintic results.

Quote: Wazine will only get roundworms, so if I were you I would get liquid Safeguard for goats or Valbazen. Both can be used in poultry even though they are labeled for livestock. Bang for the buck, Valbzen is probably the way to go, but you would probably have to order that online.
