Hey guys,
Agi died today:-( very sad about that. But anyway, I'm am getting two Eiser browns called Henny and Penny(Yup, I've already named them:)) So I just thought I would let you know what I'm getting, and I will tell you how I go with getting them,

P.S. I am going away in two days, so I won't be online till a week. I will get my hens after I come back:)

Hey, I just lost my Jenny, still have Henny & Penny but looking to get a jenny II. My hens seem pretty docile but worried about the age of introducing a new pullet. Ant ideas?
 
Thanks for replying I did some reading on this site and decided I would keep her in a separate but visible yard after about a week they started getting closer and closer to the fence and after a couple more weeks the older hens were occasionally flying over to visit so I through the 3 of them together and while every now and then the older ones boss the younger one, no real problems
 
Sounds good!! What I did was, I let my new girls run around one half, and the old (literally they're about 6 years old) rrun the other half.They kept on calling eachother, so I let all of them out in the bigger space, and the older girls were bullying them so I put them back and introduced the new girls at night time when they were tired. They've gotten to know eachother well since and now they hang out in the same area of the backyard:-D
