Update,
Well....currently waiting for a call back from the City Planner/Zoning Commissioner to make absolutely sure they are legal. We live in a TINY town but after researching a bit, apparently certain neighborhoods have had issues. After moving from Houston where there were chickens all over the place, it's hard to believe that "Mayberry" Alabama would have this many issues with a couple of chickens! We also may decide to order some different chickens so that we can get better egg producers and possibly ones that are more docile and people friendly... Any suggestions would be appreciated!
