Hi everyone! I've finally convinced my husband to get chickens and I couldn't be happier! We have about 3/4 of an acre of land, but a portion of that is woods so we don't have a ton of space. I want the chickens to be comfortable and have enough space, so I was looking at getting 2. What breeds would you recommend? I want ones that are friendy, lay eggs (duh
, and I also want ones that will do it for a longer period of time, even if it slows down. I'm a huge animal lover so I don't plan on using them for meat or getting rid of them once they stop laying.
Does anyone have any suggestions? It's slightly overwhelming with all the research I've been doing!
