Heat Lamps and Sleep Cycle for chicks

I'm still trying to get the heat lamp in the right area and temp for my new babies. I have 6 babies in a long plastic tub (bin) with the heat lamp across from it. Not directly attached to the tub.My therm says 92 and they seem to be enjoying it, but I fear it's still too hot.

I'm not going to be able to sleep tonight because I'll be keeping my eye on them ;)

We went cold turkey last night (no lights no heat lamp). They all did great no fuss or muss when the lights went out. I have a perch set up in their box and half of them were on there this morning when normally only 1 or maybe 2 used to ever sit on it.
