Special diet for less stinky poop?

I have a Buff Orpington chicken that I keep indoor as a house pet and I sometimes put her on a chicken diaper. What kind of diet can I give her to make the poop less stinky and less wet? Should I switch to only scratch instead of pellets? Or is there a brand pellet diet that won't give an odor in the poop?

Also, I give my chicken 24/7 access to pellets and water. Is this overfeeding?

My three chicks always have access to food and clean water. I do not believe it's overfeeding. It's good to make sure they have 24/7 access to the necessities. Especially since mine sleep for almost 7-10 hours a day and wake up very hungry and very thirsty.

Well, poop stinks...there's really no way around it. Especially the cecal poops... PeeeeEEwwww!

You might look into feeding fermented feed, those who feed it often claim their chickens poop doesn't stink.... lol.

Actually fermented feed can reduce volume because supposedly it allows the chicken to use more of the nutrients so lower odor. Just like if you feed high quality dog food, the feces are of less volume.

Personally I don't think a lone chicken in a house is a good situation, chickens are flock animals and 'happier' housed with other chickens.
