Try niacin, Vit B3.They were fine for two days then this morning BOTH of them cannot walk straight. Those fish meal in their feed cause blindness? because they're walking like they cannot see in that they're holding their heads sideways.
Much thanks!!! I mixed nutritional yeast with water gave to them by dropper every 15 min. They are standing! My feed store where I bought them at told me I could just feed them chick starter. I had no info about the B vitamins and niacin. Hope I caught it in time!Try niacin, Vit B3.
If they´re already standing, they should be fine. But keep an eye, and if you think they´re sitting a bit too much, could be they need another dose. Don´t overdo it, though. Just give them enough to get them back on their feet, then give them a bit every few days. Feed peas, plenty of grass, romaine lettuce, dandelions, and they should be ok. Niacin deficiency is a problem with goslings, and is something most of us find out about in a crisis.T

. I mix nutritional yeast into the chick starter it's nonmedicated organic chick starter has fishmeal and it will be replacing that today. Cut up spring mix for them. they are drinking water to can I give them frozen peas? should I thaw and chop them for them how is it recommended. They are sleepy. If they´re already standing, they should be fine. But keep an eye, and if you think they´re sitting a bit too much, could be they need another dose. Don´t overdo it, though. I find that anything floating about in water is hard for geese and goslings to resist. so, to get them eating I´ll often chop up some lettuce, really fine, and float it in their water. You can put some niacin in their water and they´ll take it in when they drink it and also when they´re getting their lettuce. Frozen peas are great for adults, but with babies I´d be inclined to thaw them first and split them. Greens are far more important than chick crumb. So feed the crumb by all means, but not as their main feed, as greens will do them so much more good. Wake them up, get that niacin into them with some peas and romaine lettuce.I
