Hey y'all!

This thread is dedicated to just bragging about your chooks! Say anything you want about them! Feel free to get silly!

I'll go first:
I have 7 of the cutest and most lovealbe little fuzz-balls I could ever home for. Their names are as follows;

Harriet - Ameraucana and the leader
Gloria - Ameraucana and 2nd in command
Matilda - Ameraucana and 3rd in Command
Jenny, Mystery, Doris, and Louise - sweet, curious RSL's that make up the rest

Have fun everybody!
 
I have 14 chooks in total.
Caesar: my Barred Rock rooster
Stella, Gigi, B.B., Gobbles, Pixie, Nugget, and 4 unnamed newbies: My 10 Golden Comet hens
Jenna, Shyla, and Kobi: My 3 araucana hens
They are so adorable!
 
i live in town and town laws says i can only have six chickens
so i only have 6

1 white jersey giant
1 white rock
1 barred rock
1 black australorp
5 rhode island reds
1 buff orpington
2 red sex links
10 cornish cross meat birds

according to my common-core-math-skills, that's......... six chickens
 
My BO Ella has brooded every year over the last 4 years and hatched only one chick out of six eggs her first year, then went up to an 80% hatch rate followed by two years of 100% hatch rate.

That's cute that you can tell who the leader of the pack is. And the second, and the third.
My favorite hen likes cuddles and on pretty days I sit on a tree swing with her in my lap and she starts to fall asleep
