..Sooo I don't know if this is PC ir not but I was thinking of "borrowing" a Man for my girls and giviing them some babies. Um how doI find a "stud" for them..lol I would advertise the chicks for sale as I cannot keep them all no matter how gosh darn cute they will be.
 
The time that would be involved in properly quarantining this "borrowed" bird and then the introduction process would make the whole scenario rather impractical - not to mention the challenge of finding a rooster owner who is willing to take the risk of having their bird come back into their flock after all of that and having to do the whole process over again on their end of things just to get him back into their flock. Not to mention the issue of whether or not any of your hens would go broody during this whole process. Going through all of that just to turn around and try to sell the chicks (there is no guarantee you would be able to, btw) seems pretty pointless. If you *really* want your birds to hatch chicks, it would be easier to get some fertile eggs if/when one of them goes broody.
