Pilgrim Geese thread - Page 105
Does your gander have blue eyes? can you post up to date pics of them both. I would think breeding season would be well on it's way there they usually start late winter with breeding. Wondering if you may have mixed breed and 2 ganders?
Looks like your gander maybe pure Pilgrim then unless Embden but he doesn't look as large as they get. Can you take some good updated pics. full body close as you can get pics. There are Pilgrim owners on here who can help you know for sure. How are they doing good and settled in now?

Pictures would really help. By what you are describing appearance wise it would sound like a male and a female pilgrim. Though, their behavior sounds similar to my boys. My ganders will not swim together usually. One in the pool at a time if one gets in with the other, he will either go after his feet or get out. You will also get a better idea come Spring (maybe earlier) When they would start to mate if a pair. Also if they start to lay eggs, you will know if one or both are female. Mixed breeds will be hard to tell even from a picture. Please keep us updated and welcome!
@JLynnsDuckies It's spring in Australia that is where they are. Hopefully pics coming soon.
