Can geese eat alfalfa?

I have a flock of 33 this includes 18 chickens 13 ducks and 2 geese and 1 bale of hay last all winter along with the fermented feed I offer. They nibble on it daily but don't eat it like actual hay eaters do. I usually have some left over to scatter around where they like to lay. I can't get water fowl feed here so I use Purnia Flock Raiser since it's suppose to be formulated for all poultry. I think you got so good feed there with Mana Pro.

Wonderful, I will stick with the Manna Pro for now and then look into a flock raiser when they are older.

I feed an Alfalfa/oat horse pellet, mixed with 3 or 5 way scratch (grains,; corn, barley, oats, etc.) oats and some poultry layer, in winter.... they get used to just about anything if that's whats in the bucket.... mainly because that is what is around here except flock raiser crumbles which I only feed the babies as it turns to mucky glue in the feed pans and have had 2 birds choke to death on it while eating....
