My 15 year old decided to get into poultry production for his SAE in the FFA. We recently bought a couple of pullet chicks from a farm and home retailer. Then, about a week ago, my wife brought home a bantam chick from an outing with her mother. I figure I'm getting dragged into something I know little about, so here I am!

Thanks everyone! I did some reading in the Learning Center and plan to do a lot more? TwoCrows... beautiful state you live in. I used to live up around Farmington and Aztec. Where, on this site, would I be able to post a pic, or two of my chicks? They're 2 months old, or so, and I'm having the devil of a time identifying their breed. Plenty of possibilities, but just not sure.
