yea. a goose will typically lay only every other day in their season. if you keep getting them and they are fighting, i would say they are both females. if one was a male and the other one was a female, they would be mating and not fighting. though females are typically more docile, they can still fight for dominance amongst themselves. this true for pretty much all animals.
