So I have 3 Zebra Finches 2 Female and 1 Male I have been trying to breed them for a awhile but they just wont breed, the females have been laying infertile eggs ever since the first day I put the male in there with them. The females will sit on them till a week or so after they should of hatched then the females will eat some of the eggs not all them (the rest I have to take out of the nest if they don't eat them).
What I would like to know is why wont they breed and is there any thing I can do to get them to start breeding.

These are my two Females

This is my Male

By the pictures, it looks like your two females have bonded. Females will lay eggs even if they haven't bred with a male. You will probably need to separate one of the females. If your male is young he may not be old enough to breed or he may be shooting blanks.
You should be able to tell if the eggs are fertile about 7 days after the last one is laid. Use a pen light or some other small light and shine through the egg looking for blood veins. If you don't see veins wait a day or two and check again. Discard any eggs that are not fertile. Be careful when checking the eggs or you may crack them.
You will have to remove the nest when you want them to stop breeding or they will just keep laying eggs. That can wear out your female.
Make sure you supply her with a calcium supply (cuttlebone) and vitamin/mineral supplement. You can also give her chicken eggshell. Rinse them out with hot water then boil them to kill anything that may be on them from the chickens.
Remove the babies about 6 weeks after they fledge and separate sexes to prevent interbreeding.
