Sorry ive been unable to post the past 2 weeks. I had a terrible hatch of my shipped eggs. 6 out of 30 hatched. I ended up with 2 blue isbars, 1 crested cream legbar, and 3 marans. I tried putting them in cut down cartons at lockdown... personally i will never do it again.
 
Oh no, I'm sorry to hear that, especially since you had such a great rate on your first hatch. :( I've been considering ordering some eggs all week but I'm worried the same will happen to me...
 
Out of the 30 eggs, 12 were clear at day 7. I suspect fertility issues. I contacted the seller and she said she will replace the 12 if i pay shipping. Sounds pretty fair to me

Sorry about that hatch Bama, thanks for posting results and the tip about about the cartons. That's good that the seller will ship you more eggs though.
 
Oh I would love to have the income to buy direct from Greenfire, and they actually are within a day trip drive, but they want $20 per chick. Meanwhile I've seen hatching eggs go for $40+ a dozen. I totally understand why they charge so much though, they have to recover their cost for importing new breeding stock to the US.
 
Just lost a bid for some SFH eggs on the auction thread at the last half second, I'm not fast enough for that thread haha.

@jurczak09 are you hatching this weekend? Let us know how it goes.
