Can someone define silver pied to me

What people are calling a LOUD PIED is a pied bird that is at least 3/4 white. It will have more white than any other color. A bird that is not a loud pied with not have more than about 50% white.

Comparison between barbs of peacock feathers... IB, IB White and IB Silver Pied.
Normal blue and IB silver Pied ... bards of feather of IB are twice as wide as the bards of the feathers of IB Silver Pied.
White peacock feathers ( barbs ) are twice as fine.
White mutation of IB ... it is not only a matter of color!

Could someone please post photos of a Mature Silver Pied beside a Mature India Blue pied? (Thanks so much.) I've been reading at various sources and also checked Google images and there seems to be little consistency as to ID.

I hatched a Male (DNA Sexed) Silver Pied here in our home incubator. Bronson just turned a month old on July 14 is shown to the right and in the upper right in the magazine at 1 Day Old. I'll be documenting his growth/color changes through photos. Already, the color has become much more apparent.

Any further reading materials or documentation would be most appreciated. :)

Best,

Kelly

Why a " split silver pied " don't exist ?
One bird can't be split pied + 2 X split white eyes ?
A bird can be split pied + 1 x split white eyes ! ..... only !

I'm assuming your Silver Pied is IB in color...is that correct?

Silver Pied X IB split to Pied = 25% IB split to White, 25% IB split to Pied, 25% IB Pied, and 25% IB Dark Pied. All offspring will also have one copy of White Eyed from Dad.

Please note that these are statistical probabilities, not a guarantee of "what will hatch."

:)

Yes that correct, thank you for your help. :)

Blue silver pied X Blue silver pied =

50% Blue silver pied peachicks.
25%White peachiks ( White + 1We + 1Wesp ).
25% Dark silver pied ( 2P + 1We + 1Wesp ).

.... in picture !

White eyes ..... totally well visible!

If true .... why peacocks with white eyes are so rare?

Silver pied = 1 gene White + 1 gene Pied + 2 genes White eyes = 112
Silver pied loud = 1 gene White + 1 gene Pied + 1 gene White eyes = 111
This is one of the great mysteries of peafowl. There are those that would tell you that the following:

Loud Pied = 1 white gene + 1 pied gene + 1 white eye genes
Pied White Eyed = 1 white gene + 1 pied gene + 2 white eye genes
Split Silver Pied or Loud Silver Pied = 1 white gene + 1 pied gene + 1 silver white eye gene
Silver Pied = 1 white gene + 1 pied gene + 2 silver white eye genes

I am just saying. I make no comments on the truth of it.

Donc d'après les explications de Augeredin :

Blue silver pied X Blue silver pied =

50% Blue silver pied peachicks. PW: Wesp/Wesp
25%White peachiks ( White + 1We + 1Wesp ). WW: WespWesp
25% Dark silver pied ( 2P + 1We + 1Wesp ). PP: Wesp/Wesp
