Hello! My name's Noemi, and I'm new at all this chicken stuff. After taking in some chicks my mother & I bought at our local feed store, I'm curious as to what breeds these chickens are! They're grown now, about 15 or so weeks already. I took these pictures earlier of them (the camera on my phone sucks and they don't really sit still, so I'm sorry about the weird angles).

This is my rooster (his name is Lupito).

I wanted to get a shot of his reddish-brown feathers, because I THINK he may be a Wyandotte cross breed of some sort?

The Wyandotte looking one is named Kimmy. She looks just like Lupito, only she's, well, a girl. :p
The red one next to her is Lily. I'm quite positive Lily is a female, as she doesn't sing like a rooster. All three of them are the same age, and my boy has been crowing for quite some time now.

I think she might be a New Hampshire Red, because she has a large comb & waddles (I'm going by pictures I've seen). My grandmother was raised on a ranch and she swears she's a boy because of the large comb, so I'm not so sure anymore. >.<

Any input would be greatly appreciated! And sorry about all the pictures! I just wanted it to be as detailed as possible! Thank you so much! :)

Hmm! Interesting! I assumed Kimmy was a female because she's (he?) significantly smaller than Lupito. And he's also got a huge head! Kimmy's head is quite small.
Also, thank you! :)

I think all three of them are cockerels. Lupito and Kim are Easter Eggers and definite cockerels due to their coloration[yellowish white with red on the wings is a typical EE cockerel color] and saddles/hackles. Lil looks like a NHR or Production Red, and looks like a cockerel atm because of the dark red on the wings and large comb, though no real saddle feathers yet to be seen. I do think I see a few shiny hackles and a rew orangish saddle feathers sprouting, though.

*sigh* That's actually a little disappointing. :/ Guess I'm gonna have to change their names! But thank you both so much!

I think all three of them are roosters. Lupito and Kim are definitely Easter Eggers. Lil is either a New Hampshire or Production Red. If you can post a picture of his tail, I can tell you which he is.

I'm not sure why Griffinsong's quote wasn't marked as a quote in my previous post (I clicked on quote and it showed up that way in my roughdraft), but as I stated under the quote, I think all three of them are roosters. Lupito and Kim are definitely Easter Eggers. Lil is either a New Hampshire or Production Red. If you can post a picture of his tail, I can tell you which he is.

I'm uploading these from my phone, so I hope the images show up.
