Bee Thread!

Yes, for many years. That is why I took notice of over the years of the different types of hives and the paint jobs and have said several timed in different replys, In my experience. I am not a commercial Bee keeper. But I did stay at a Holiday Inn.
You can paint your hives whatever color you like. An entrance reducer keeps out the wasps so they wont rob their honey.

Folks, there are a whole lot of member that keep bees and are knowledgeable about this hobby; it's just silly to think there is only ONE person that knows how to keep them, answer questions, provide good feedback, and help others.

It would seem that, for anyone interested in starting in this hobby, more replies from different sources are a GOOD thing, not a bad one. Also, arguing, teasing, mocking are certainly NOT ways to encourage new folks to become interested in this hobby.

It's an interesting thread, and I do hope others will come & join you all and provide lots of feedback!
