Light in coop

Is it dark in there during the day?
Are there any windows?
Need to know why you think they need more light.
 
The advice given so far seems quite reasonable to me, assuming that your hens get out of the coop during the day. Do they, or are they in there 24 hours a day?
If they're stuck inside, I think I would give them a light during the daylight hours. But if they're getting outside, no worries.
