My question's sort of related to your laying pullet/hen....I've got 2 EE & 2 RIR that are 10s old, I KNOW that's too young to lay BUT I saw one of the RIR yesterday afternoon acting like she was.  I have them in the run during the mornings, afternoons the roam my fenced yard (live in the city).  She was in the patio where their "coop" is, in front of the door going in circles, squatting & like she's going to poop.  Did it for bit then ran in the coop & into the tray with shavings.  I left her, few seconds later she came running out & joined the rest in the yard.  I peeked in the shavings but nothing & no poop.  It was so cute but it's too early right?

Hubby enclosed my work table for an indoor coop when I was raising hatches for a breeder, she took them back at 2 months.  The "run" was for the chicks so Hubby's making me an 8 x 10 run for my chickens.  I was in the patio painting the lumber when Ehu did her dance...
