my chicken bold in places??

hi i have 3 chickens, 3 girls hybrids that i have had for 2 years now they are coming up for 3. i noticed last week that 2 of them had red swollen crops and after massaging them etc they seem to have gone down and less red. but on closer inspection i have notices that one of my girls is going bold all under neath and under her tail feathers? i have cleaned there coop throughly and havent noticed and mites?? and suggestions muchly appreciated?? thanks
 
if she was hurt underneath her it could be she is recovering
Maybe you should post some pics if that's possible
 
hi i will try and get some pics, i dont think she has been hurt as no sign of any wound just completely bold low down on breast and under tail?? very strange thanks
 
here is my bold lady purple feathers septi cleanse but as u can see bold on crop and lower and help thanks??
 
I'm assuming you mean "bald," not bold, right? This is not uncommon for hens. They actually do this to one another. Sometimes they pluck feathers out of other hens (and eat them) because their diet is low in protein that the feathers provide, believe it or not. They might do it for other reasons, but it's fairly common. Typically, you see it in the saddle area of the bird and on the breast. Folks make saddle "aprons" for their birds, but that seems a bit silly to me. The birds aren't harmed by it. There's no reason to apply anything topically; you'd have to reapply it daily and it's just a waste of time. The bird is fine.
