Wyandotte chicks less than a week idk how much they weigh but not much

Lethargic, gasping for breath, clicking sound when breathing

Noticed this morning

Two chicks the rest seem fine

No trauma I can see but they were just brought home yesterday so stressful day

Maybe they were too cold? I’m not sure but I think it got under 80 last night… idk

Eating medicated chick feed and drinking water with save-a-chick electrolytes and probiotics

The two sick chicks seem to have runny poo but the rest are fine

I have vetrx and have given the two gashing chicks a bit of the solution

I just want to save the rest of these chicks from whatever has these two sick

They are in a cardboard box with shavings and a heat lamp and I keep a thermometer in there trying to keep it around 90 to 95

This sounds like it could be either Fowl Cholera or Avian Influenza.

Does she have
*Swollen face
*Gunky eyes

Or is she
*Droopy
*Diarrhea
no to the swollen face or gunky eyes
but yes to the droopy and they have a lil diarrhea, they are eating and drinking but they seem like they cant get comfortable cuz they cant breath and I was watching them and I saw one sneeze???

the two that seem sick are a lil lethargic, seem to be gasping for breath, make a lil clicking sound sometimes when they breath and have a lil runny poo. Those are the only symptoms.
the rest of the chicks seem fine (10 chicks total in homemade brooder)
I guess I could trash their cardboard box and put them in a new one but their isn't any coop to disinfect
do you think TSC would have some antibiotics for it?

Yes TSC would probably carry some. Otherwise you will have to look online.

ill get something today
I gave those two that vetrx and it seems to have helped with their breathing
I also upped the temp a lil and the group is not passed out asleep so with any luck this is just a lil cold or something I can stop before it kills

Well looks like two more chicks are now having trouble breathing also but I've got them all on Duramycin 10 and everybody is still eating and drinking so maybe they will pull through

So how did it turn out. I have two chicks in a batch of 25 with similar symptoms.

Thanks!

Well I lost those two chicks and four more chicks are gonna be set back for a while and may never really come out of it but the rest seem to be growing pretty well
