It is day 5 of incubating these 6 eggs and I candled them. They all look the same, the air pocket looks quite large and as I candle and look around at it the air is just moving all around. It seems very liquidy. I can't tell if there is any veining because my flashlight isn't too great, but I'm very worried. It doesn't look like "the ring of death" that I saw on Google images, it just looks like the air sac is not staying/attached to the fat end of the egg. As I turn the egg around and look at it, the air sac moves around too... I think it's the air sac, but is it just the yolk??? It looks very large and is an oval. Takes up most of the space of the egg when it's on it's side. And there is no blood ring visible.
I thought I saw veining on some of the eggs but I'm only like 30% sure...
I am using the dry incubation method. I keep the humidity at 30-40%, and the temperature at 99.5.
People have been saying the dry method is the best and they have had 98% and 100% forever, and it hatches their eggs the best out of all methods.
The eggshell is very thick so I can't see any veining, plus the flashlight isn't very good. I will get a candler as soon as I can.
PLEASE, are these eggs ok, or are they gone? They are Ayam Cemani eggs (rarest breed)!
Sorry I don't have any pictures but I tried to take pictures with my phone but nothing even showed up.

Day five is too early to decide but I don't think the airsac should move! Leave them till day 7
Do it as dark as possible, look for the embryo and veining
Good luck they might still be ok
Were they posted eggs?

I also dry incubate we are very humid here in Cornwall
45 % humidity then 65% at lockdown
37.5 degrees down to 36 at lockdown

I've found it works well for the airsac sizes
I've had one quite thick eggshell but we helped the chick out
Its great having an automatic incubator now that does the humidity for me

Oh, they arrived last Saturday, and I put the eggs in Sunday.
And they were posted. The eggs were laid on the 4th, so when I put them in the incubator they were 8 days old. (at least the seller said, he could be lying and they might be older).

I've been looking at how long they can be stored for before they lose fertility seems 2weeks is ok if stored somewhere cool( not a fridge)
Mine were at least a week old too, I hope they are fertile, candeling can be great but sometimes its best to be cautious and not disguard anything
Until you are certain
