Hey everyone!

I was wondering if anyone knew what southern California cities don't allow chickens. I couldn't find anything on my city so just if anyone knows anything, it would be great.

Also, generally how far away should the coop be from your house? My coop is literally 3 feet from my house, (the chicks currently live inside though). I could move it maybe about 20-30 feet away, but then it would be next to my parents office and closer to the neighbors houses.

Thanks for any help!

From what I know so far Fountain Valley, Mission Viejo, Hawaiian Garden don't allow chicken. Btw, what city are you in?

I know they are NOT allowed in West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica. They ARE allowed in Los Angeles and Culver City without a permit, hens only, of course. They're also allowed in most of the outlying areas.
