hoping someone can help me identify what this baby is exactly so I can take the appropriate action. If its a wild baby bird I want to get it to the local wildlife rescue.

I know that's what I was thinking, I put some chick starter down and it ate it which makes me think its not a wild baby bird...I don't think they would know what to do with it since mother birds feed their babies.

Not a wild bird. I would say raise it in enjoy it.

I am definitely going to raise it and integrate it into my flock at some point, just cleaned it up a little and realized its missing the whole top of its beak and part of an eye lid, its got puncture wounds on its chest and a large scabbed bump on its tail, poor thing must have been attacked by something.
