Hi I'm always fascinated by chicken breed hybrid crosses. I know the most breed crossings are with RIR roosters and BPR hens to get black sex-link chicks (solid black pullets and white dot cockerels). Or RIR or NH roosters with either white Leghorn or Delaware or RIW or WPR hens to get red sex-links (red(ish) pullets and white cockerels). What happens when you do the exact opposite crosses like a BPR rooster with a RIR hen? Or reversing the red sex-link combinations? How about crossing a BO rooster with a BPR hen (or vice-versa)? How bout a black Australorp rooster with a WPR hen (or vice-versa)? Or let's say a Brahma rooster with a Cochin hen? This is just all harmless curiosity. Whatever useful information anyone has is a help. Thanks.
