Do peahens have any coloring at all on their tail feathers? I was looking at Majora today and I spotted some green on his/her eye tail feathers.
Is this 2 month old peachick a male or female?

Well, the feathers that would be the eye tail feathers on the male. I'm not sure of the proper term to use...

It's an Indian Blue. I'll wait a few days after the coloring is visibly apparent then post pics!
