Hello...I am new here joining. I have been on the website a tin for the past few months. I currently reside in Goshen Ohio. My husband and I decided to start raising chickens and found them highly addicting. We currently have 17 and already planning more coops.
 
Welcome to BYC! A lot of us were lurkers before joining, and yes, I think we are all addicted to chickens. Beware of succumbing to chicken math. :eek:) What kind of chickens do you have?
 
Oh I have multiple breeds. My husband and I could not make up out minds. We have white leghorn, black Australorp, barred rock, Rhode island, blue copper maran, buff Orpington, and easter eggers.
 
You have a nice mix of breeds. White Leghorns are egg laying machines, and Black Australorps (my favorite standard breed) are calm and gentle, and the best layers of the standard brown egg laying breeds. My granddaughter has made pets of our Buff Orpingtons, and she loves the colored eggs of the Easter Eggers. Good luck with your flock.
