Elderberry Bugs - Can Chickens Eat them??

I have a friend at work whose yard is infested with these bugs, and she would love to see if she could borrow a few of my chickens and decrease her Elderberry Bug population? I dont want to hurt my babies? Does anyone know if they are safe for chickens to eat? I want to bring some to the house first and see who even likes them if they are okay....
Let me know what you think???

I dont think its a bad idea IF they will eat them. On another thread they said they dont like the taste? But then people say they dont like the taste of Japanese Beetle either and I have seen friends chickens go crazy for those! It cant hurt to try and see.
