ABS Feeding tubes for Grit, Oyster Shells and Chicken Egg Shells.......

Evening.... Well, I been looking around and taking in everyone's comments.... Here is what I came up with....

2" ABS , DWV plastic pipe....... 24" straight piece of pipe...... 90 Deg. Street Elbow....... 90 Deg. Short turn vent elbow......

I chose this design so the birds would not have to "dip" straight down into the elbow......

AND the elbow could be turned to accommodate "how" the aggregate slides into the elbow....

Hope all this makes sense...... See what I mean about changing the angle on the elbow...

I have them assembled with some oil in the joints so I can "maybe" adjust them to a final position.... about $10 where I live....

I'm hoping they work well for the small amounts of "additions" that are made to our chickens diets..... I have three made up.......

I'm doing this because I am contemplating feeding "Grower" feed and supplementing other nutrition...
