Hahaha, I can see that! I started with 6, wound up with 10, and we're already picking out which breeds we like for chick time in spring!! Good thing I built the coop bigger than I needed (thanks to advice I saw on BYC)!

Few BYC members are immune to chicken math. :eek:)
 
Thank you, I do try to be frugal as well as earth-friendly. I just made a post all about how I built my coop over on the coop section. Here. I hope you like it!

I went over and took a look at your coop. Very resourceful indeed and very cute. Why spend lots of money on supplies when you can get them for free. When I lived on the big island of Hawaii, I built the coop below entirely out of recycled material.

Oh, that's wonderful! Thanks for the link!! I checked it out briefly, and can't wait to read through it in-depth! I love re-using things instead of throwing them out. It just makes sense to me!
