How to keep goose out of pool

So Pear as some of you know is a lonely goose right now, and follows me around the yard, well when I was filling up his water container thing, he fell in our pool and now won't get out. I kjow he can I've seen him do it, but today he'll swim up to me and as soon as I reach for him he swims away! Ugh!!!! How do I get him out and KEEP him out?!

Is that a swimming pool? To get him out you´ll have to tempt him when he´s feeling peckish with his favourite food. And put a fence up.
 
Yes a 12ft deep swimming pool! It doesn't have chlorine in it right now but I don't want him to get in the habit of getting in. Since it doesn't have chlorine I let him in there for a few minutes but now he needs to get out. Really sad at the same time because he's diving and flapping and zooming on the water...
