What breed are these chickens??

We purchased 6 from one farmer who said they were Red Sex links and the other 10 from another farmer who sais they are Red Stars, they all look the same too melol........Can someone out there lend some advice have only had them a few days...

Red Stars is just a hatchery's fancy name for a red sex link.

They look the same cause they are the same

red sex link is like a generic name, say facial tissue. Red Star, Golden Comet, Cinnamon Queen, etc are brand names, like Kleenex or Puffs. Underneath the name, the product is pretty much the same. In this case, birds that could be sexed at hatch...hens gold/red, roosters white/silver. The grown hens are prolific layers of nice brown eggs.

What breed are these chickens??
