Hello everyone,
My first post on any forum EVER!
Myself and my wife Catherine have just moved to a new house in the Irish countryside and, having lived most of our lives in suburbia I thought it would be a great idea to fulfill a lifelong dream of Catherine's and buy her two pygmy goats. They were a great sucess and still are. So I then decided to purchase 4 Rhode Island Reds, which I had been referring to as Rhodesian Ridgebacks (thus proving my absolute lack of knowledge of our feathered friends ). One has succumbed to the natural instincts of one of our West Highland Terriers (our first lesson learned) whilst the others appear to be ok. I just wanted to say that it is great to find a site like this to help and share info, which I am sure I will be doing in the near future. Also, just to clarify that I am not a bad speller, I just left my glasses downstairs and am too proud (lazy) to go down to get them!
