Hello,
I currently have a black Sussex sitting on 8 duck eggs which are three breeds: calls, east Indies & miniature silver appleyards. I just wondered if anyone had alot of luck hatching out these breeds?

I'm only asking just to reasure myself as I really wanted these breeds for ages. :)
 
You have me the idea to get a hen to brood my duck eggs instead of a Muscovy! they take up les space and are cleaner. lol is this common to have a hen brood ducklings?

Hello,
We had muscovies and they hatched 2 out of four eggs and did make quite good mums however many people I know prefer hatching ducklings under a broody chicken and say they're more reliable than ducks with sitting :)
