Great site. So many informations. I am just starting, because I live in town, regulations ban roosters and limit the number of hens to twelve.
There are so many beautiful breeds I find difficult to choose. So far I have one Australorp and two Welsummers. Now looking for a Marans and wyandottes.. maybe one Ameraucana for blue eggs.
I wonder if there are many Australian members?

from Washington! In our flock we have great people and it is always great to have a new member:) In our flock, we have no pecking order!

By the way, not saying that you will do anything bad, but no fowl play

I would look at the reviews on the chickens you want.

Hope this helps!

Good luck establishing your flock and welcome to ours!

Are you aussie then G'day. We have a large Australian community, the more the merrier. You've been given a link to their thread you can also find them at the Emu threads.

It's good to start with a variety of breeds. That way you find out which ones you like the best. Then you may want to sell off the others and buy more of your favorites. BTW, glad you joined the flock.

Glad you joined us! We have quite a lot of Australian members here! You will find most of them on the thread Michael OShay linked for you. Enjoy the site!
