Hello, i am new to this site but it looks really good.
We used to keep hens a few years ago and we miss them alot so we are planning to set up a new chickencoop again next spring.
We had Wyandotte, Barnevelder and Australorps and plan to get those same breeds again.

Regards
Stig Ask

Welcome to BYC, Stig! Glad you decided to join our flock. My family and I have scheduled a vacation to Norway next June and we are looking forward to visiting your beautiful country. You have good taste in chickens. Black Australorps are my favorite standard breed; very hardy, calm and gentle, and the best layers of the standard, brown egg laying breeds. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your flock.

Welcome to BYC! Please make yourself at home and we are here to help.

The breeds you had were great ones!! You may look into the buff orpington too. They are very affectionate, friendly, great layers and docile.

Hello :frow and Welcome To BYC! Sounds like you are putting together a nice flock, good luck with the coop build!
