The problem started with one chicken having a floppy head/neck. The next day I noticed a different one laying over to the side, using her wing to walk. Next day there was another I was thinking it was a predator, and the chicken got lucky to survive, but now that there are more, I'm thinking more along the lines of disease. i did have a hen about 4 weeks ago that had bloody stools for half a day, then died.
I use shavings for bedding, Dumar feed, and plenty of water. I have 2 hens that are just shy of laying, 10 blue splash marans, 4 blue splash and copper maran mixes, 8 salmon favorelle chicks and 2 peacocks that all share the same space. If this is indeed a disease, I'm afraid it will spread fast Of course they have a coop they can be in, but they also have a huge "pen" they can run in. I call it a "pen" because there used to be a fence there, but I took the fence down to redo it, have have not put it back up yet. So they can free range with my ducks!
Any help would be appreciated!
