Made my roosters spurs bleed! They are still to long.

I don't trim their Spurs. I remove the cap of the spur. I recommend this way, rather than just clipping the ends. Gently take a pair of players and twist the spur(at he base). And the spur should come off. Make sure you have blood stop, he shouldn't bleed heavily. But you need something to clog to bleeding.
