Polish Bantam Thread!!!!!!!!

Are the Polish bantams as fragile as some make them out to be?

Here is a picture of a Polish bantam that I just love. I've been unable to find any information on this picture, so I apologize to whomever the picture belongs to. Does anyone breed these red Polish bantams?

Thank you.

I went to tractor supply today to buy some chicken feed. I'd like to say it was an impulse buy, but I pretty well knew what was going to happen. I bought some more chicks. I wanted 4... They had a 6 chick minimum. I got 3 RIR, 2 BSL and thought I'd be adventurous with the last one and get the little one with the pom pom on it's head from the "assorted straight run bantam" bin. I had no clue what it was, but I figured my girlfriend would think it was cute. Well, my internet searching led me to believe it's probably a polish bantam. Can anyone confirm or deny this? If so, other than a strange looking little bird that occasionally lays eggs that are of completely useless size, what do I have? (joke)

Yes a Polish, eye candy is never useless

but you may have problems if it is the only tiny one in a flock of big girls.

Thank you. I do only have large birds. The smallest is my banty X standard roo and he's just a touch smaller than my hens. I'll probably grow him/her out for a while and then rehome it. I'm sure I can find someone who's into bantams who'd love to have it.

That may be what ends up being best for it in the end though mine are growing up with their l.f. flockmates with hopes it will last. Just in case, I am dividing the coop up so that in case my bantams are harassed too much they will have a safe place to be.
