Sick duck? Help!

Sounds like she was attacked by something to me. She may have internal injuries. A photo may help. Do you have anything else you can tell us information-wise? How's her poops in terms of coloring and consistency? How's her breathing?

Plucking her feathers makes me wonder if she could be egg bound, how old is your duck and had she been laying up until now? also maybe she is wounded I'd do a through examine under feathers to make sure.

I don't own ducks, never have. When I've had a chook show up missing tail or rump feathers it's directly traceable to that chook coming screaming out of the forest, lol, and there I will always find a mouthful of feathers something has spat out...

If she was having pain then she may pluck her feathers, When my duck was egg bound she had all the symptoms described other than plucking her feathers. so just trying to cover all bases. Hopefully we'll hear more info soon from the OP.

What are you feeding them? have you been supplementing with brewers yeast or niacin? could she have gotten into something toxic.plants, metal like screws etc. I'd start her on some niacin you can get it at most pharmacies and walmart,.target etc. but you wan the plain not flush free, 200-250 megs at 3 months old. also pick up some activated charcoal capsules, they can be found in the antacid section this will treat any kind of toxin other than hardware. I'd get her on the noacin right away a dif can lead to death. and usually if this is what it is they rally pretty quick in 3-5 days usually. also lets talk toxin what do they do during the day are they foraging around in a yard what kind of plants do you have?

Sounds like limber neck, botulism you need to get some activated charcoal and put some into her water, she needs to drink this and if it's a toxin the AC will bind to it and remove it from her body, if it isn't too late. Can you go to Walmart or a drug store and get the Activated charcoal capsules?
