Site update issues

We're still digging into and finding bugs to squish.

Please always make sure to provide the following info when posting problems:

1) Which browser and version are you using (eg., Firefox 3.5.9, Internet Explorer 7, etc.)
2) Have you deleted your internet cache / browser history of files and tried again?
3) Have you tried a different browser (we suggest Google Chrome or Firefox)?
 
As the wife of an IT person (not BYC's IT), I can tell you that the first thing he will ask is if you tried re-booting. Sometimes that fixes a lot of problems (I hate that fix, because I'm often in the middle of something else and have to save my work/place/web site/etc.). If you still have the same problem after rebooting...then they know it won't be a "simple" fix and they need to look more in to the issue. That is why they also ask what browser, and what version, etc.. If the problem is with IE users but not Mozilla users it helps to narrow it down.

I keep seeing that problem and often it fixes itself when I do an F5 (refresh).

I tried the F5 first and was able to get some of the features when I did a Preview of my replies (only got the smiles though, none of the other formatting options).

Then I did the shut down and things went kind of wonky when I tried to Restart. Had to run a Restart Fix which took quite a long time but all was back to normal once that was done. I think the Restart problem was most likely due to something going on with my laptop rather than BYC.

Maybe not funny so much as pathetic, but I've used computers for about the past 30 years and absolutely dread when things go wrong because I have such a hard time figuring out problems. Chalk it up to my non-technical nature and "just work *&@ it" attitude toward all things machine. Give me something alive to figure out any day.

I don't think this is the right place to ask but I got an email to verify my email and it says it can't verify my token is bad or something is wrong with it?!! What do I do
 
This is the only site I have been to today. I got a screen that said my android phone had been infected by a virus. Then a screen came up that said I could get rid of the virus with mo charge by following the prompts. I x'd out of all the screens.

Now I am getting boob shots and other porn that I will not begin to describe here.

Any ideas about what I should do ?
