Meg and Chris, plus mastiffs Murphy, Jake and Reilly, and Great Dane Levi. Orpingtons, Welsummers, Ameraucanas, Barnevelders, Rosecomb Brown Leghorns, Cuckoo Marans, and a few turkeys, along with NZW rabbits, summer lambs or calves, and who knows what else.

Oops blank post.

What I was wondering is if anybody here uses sand in there coops and why they like it more than pine shavings? I'm curious because shavings are becoming expensive.

hu.gif   I use pine needles..... I have a hundred (slight exaggeration)  Pine trees and tons (not an exaggeration) of pine needles.  So I use free pine needles from the yard.
