no it doesnt work on almost any bantam breeds, and even some LF breeds it doesn't work on.

Feather sexing does not work for most breeds.  It all depends on the speed of feathering of the parents.  It does work with a breed with slow feathering males and fast feathering females.

Just wanted to share a family milestone... My chickens are doing great, and actually got to free range in the back yard for the second time today. I also introduced them our our Great Dane Puppy Calypso AKA "El Chupoacabre"... She did MAGNIFICENTLY with them! I'm so proud of her!

Here are the girls with both of our dogs... Odin, the short fat one, is a puggle and loves to "inspect" the chickens! When they let him.

Beautiful chickens Mouzekin!  Calypso is gorgeous - Great Danes are such fun, goofy dogs.

3 Barred Plymouth Rocks, 2 Ameracauna/EEs, 2 Red Sex Links, 3 dogs, 1 rabbit, 2 teenage boys, 1 husband, and entirely too many books!

That is encouraging to see. I am working on my dogs and introducing them to the two we have now. They are only a week old so hopefully when they are bigger there won't be a problem. I have two yorkies and they want to attack. My cavalier king Charles spaniel I thought would be fine but one day she tried to snatch one. Today I had her outside with the chicken. I held her tightly and let the chickadee free range around her. Little scared but hoping forvthe best.

Here is a pic of our double yoker from the other day. The egg is from one of our EEs. It is a green egg but my camera washed out the color. I have it beside a normal sized EE egg.
