Southern Gin is going to do a flock swap? th.gifThey always seemed so proper to me, good people to do business with, but a bit uptight so to speak.

I was wondering where they were going to do it.  Their parking is rather limited.  (and yeah...nice but a tad stuffy.)

Meg and Chris, plus mastiffs Murphy, Jake and Reilly, and Great Dane Levi. Orpingtons, Welsummers, Ameraucanas, Barnevelders, Rosecomb Brown Leghorns, Cuckoo Marans, and a few turkeys, along with NZW rabbits, summer lambs or calves, and who knows what else.

What a day, Going to run the compressor to pump up a slow leaker tire on the truck and while out back look in on all the broodies. The little ones are hungry again, and I smell something burning, and at the same time do not hear the compressor thunking away like normal, look over and see a big cloud of smoke, burned up the belt.he.gif I had too much to do already.

Just wanted to let you know I'm recovering, found a decent combo of drugs and though I got an infection on Thursday we caught it early and started treating that too. I'm sleeping good and my brain isn't so fuzzy anymore so I can think. Whoohooo!

I'm hoping with some rest tonight and some rest tomorrow since its a holiday and we're doing breakfast with family and friends, I'll be home by noon and can take the afternoon to recover the rest of the way through. Will catch up with you guys on Monday I hope. :D

I bet my chickens miss me, my husband has been feeding and watering them... so they're not getting cuddles like I try to do. :P

Glad to hear you are doing a little bit better. I hope the meds eventually work out for you.

Aww... SFH are so beautiful!

NH... I hope your embryo hatches for you soon... I know how hard the waiting is, especially when you feel swollen and puffed out everywhere.

I hope everyone has a blessed Easter! easter bunny smiley.gif

Hi. In case anyone is on the coast of NC, there is a new Facebook page for locals there and it's really fun to talk to other chicken lovers (and all other sorts of animals) that live right by you. Please look up Barnyards by the Sea and join. frow.gif
