Just thought I would pop on and tell those of you that are trying to keep up with the happenings here...there is no change, and if nothing happens next week, I will be induced on that Friday!!  This is HORRIBLE mainly because my mother will have already left AND it's the day that my mother in law arrives.  he.gif  I would NOT be able to handle all that!!  LOL

Good news: our broody is still sitting on her 5 eggs (she had 4 to begin with but somehow she got a 5th and we didn't know when because it was "buried" under the shavings.  If it takes 21 days, we should have something hatching by next weekend - possibly before me!!  LOL

I'm a SAHM happily married to the man of my dreams with two DD (another due 7/2013), 1 cat, 3 Marans, 1 BSL rooster (NoName), 1 Misc. Rooster (Tyrone); 5 Ducks (Cadbury and his girls), 2 misc. young chicks, 12 pullets, etc.

Went by Beth's house today to pick up my pretties love.gif

Thanks a bunch, Beth! I swear you could hatch a rock... ep.gif

Guess who was waiting by the back gate when we got home....

I guess they thought it was snack time....

Oh... and tell the kids that the little Quail is getting along great with her new friends, in her new home.

Only thing is... she had no idea what a dust bath is, but she was very curious about it.... because the whole crowd of them decided to take one, when we put fresh dirt in their dust bath basin.

I bet she will figure it out in no time... she was so funny running around that basin of dirt... wondering what the heck they were doing.

This is the male call duck I put in with the ringed teal female... I will give you some eggs/ducklings if anything comes of it. fl.gif

So far she has been giving him the cold shoulder... LoL

Today is another doctor day for me.  Heading out to see what they say and decide how desperate I am going to be if I am really REALLY considering drinking a castor oil concoction I have read about!!  I am also reading about evening primrose oil, red raspberry leaf tea, black cohosh and a few other herbal supplements, but some I am leery on.  We'll see what the verdict is.  Maybe picking up 75# of chicken feed, oyster shells and some tomato plants (since all my starters died for some reason) will do the trick.  Either way, I find out when the doctors will plan on inducing now that I am OVERDUE!!  Sorry I am so impatient, but I would like to hatch before my broody!!  LOL lau.gif

Spent most of yesterday planting peppers and a few other things in the garden...that position didn't work to do anything but give me a back ache!!  LOL

Sorry about your back, I hope you are ready to cover the new plants in a couple days <BG> It's going to get cold!

NHS - Oh gosh, so sorry your mom will have left by Friday.  Just try to realize that it all happens, the way it happens, for a reason.

yuckyuck.gif  I was quite shocked and felt terrible for you!!  I know how miserable I am being just a few days past due and to go almost a month...YIKES, I shudder to think!!  I have been researching all the "natural" ways to safely induce: stairs, walking, pineapple, spicy foods (this one is out for me.  I eat spicy foods ALL the time, so that wouldn't be a change), I even went so far as to buy the castor oil...but the real question is...AM I BRAVE ENOUGH to try the oil?!?  lau.gif

I know everything happens for a reason, I am just sad that my mother might miss it.  I am also nervous because my MIL stresses me out BIG TIME (she NEVER remembers about DD's allergies and thinks most things she's allergic to won't "hurt" her that much!!  he.gif)  I know what stress can do to a momma, so I am trying to be patient, but let's be honest...I have NO patience!!  At least I am being taught to wait...it's good character building - or so I keep reminding myself!!  big_smile.png

Thank you everyone for your support and kind words.  They do mean a lot at this most uncomfortable time!!  hugs.gif  Further proof you all are the BEST BYC'ers out there!!

Mary - your babies are SOOOOOO cute!!  love.gif I agree with you though...I think Beth could hatch the cutest rocklings from an ordinary rock!!  tongue2.gif

I have you in my thoughts.  I'm jumping up and down, trying to get that baby to make an appearance!

I also dreaded my MIL coming, but it turned out to be a blessing.  I did not have allergies to contend with, however.  That would make me get rude pretty quickly!
