A lovely little girl!    I'm so glad you are well enough to come home, even if it made your nurse unhappy.  Home is  a good place to be.

Meg and Chris, plus mastiffs Murphy, Jake and Reilly, and Great Dane Levi. Orpingtons, Welsummers, Ameraucanas, Barnevelders, Rosecomb Brown Leghorns, Cuckoo Marans, and a few turkeys, along with NZW rabbits, summer lambs or calves, and who knows what else.

First predator in two years hit today.  The smaller of the two lav roos I got at the TSC swap (Henry) got nabbed.  Whatever it was (and I'm leaning toward hawk) had to fight for him.  There's a trail of feathers in swirls and circles in the pasture, and then it ends.  No carcass.  He was carried off, not dragged, or there would have been more feathers leading toward the fence.  So I have to build more hides to put out. Haven't needed them in a long time, and we pulled them in since the sheep knock them over trying to use them for scratching posts.

When I went to look for Henry, and found the feathers, the other lav roo (George) left what he was doing to come out and watch me walk through it all.  I'm sure he saw Henry get nabbed.  Poor fella.  :(

So long, Henry.  I'm sorry.

A special thank you to Beth for updating everyone!!  DH and I were planning to try the castor oil Thursday, but I went into labor Wednesday night and delivered a healthy baby girl at 0833 on Thursday morning!!  big_smile.png  We are all doing well, and hoping against hope to go home today!!  fl.gif  Thank you again everyone for your thoughts, prayers and well wishes!!  You all are wonderful!!

welcome-byc.gif to all the new people...sorry I missed welcoming you when you first posted!! I hope you have a great experience with all of the wonderful people on here!!

Sorry I'm a bit late, BUT, Congrats on your new little bundle of joy!!thumbsup.gif
