Is anyone interested in a side swap? I have 12+ BLUE Sex-link hatching eggs that need a good home. The girls hatch solid blue and the boys hatch blue with a white dot on their head and will end up being blue barred.

Id like some of those blue sex links, but my incubator is full right now. hmm.png how long does it take for the chicks to mature?

Penelope has 6 kittens!!  They are free to a good home the end of June.  PM me if you are interested!

The first batch I hatched are outside in the grow out pen now.....they seem to grow FAST and are very heavy and dense. Very nice chicks.

and I just went to feed the rat we rescued from the pet store my gf works at and there is now 11 or 12 babies!!!!! so if anyone wants feeders or pinkys let me know.......and let me know if you know anyone who wants these roo's for REAL CHEAP!!!

Hmm... Maybe I could get a few eggs from you in may? Just a few...like 6, maybe. I need a fast growing, dense chicken to add to my flock. Something blue would be nice, too. smile.png

Oh boy!  When I worked for the Rat rescue in Raleigh we called that the 12 for 1 special!  You're going to want to sex those babies as early as possible and get the boys into a separate cage...rats mature at 5 WEEKS so there's not a whole lot of time. 

The good news is that identifying boys is relatively simple.  The bad news is that if you miss one, or don't do it early enough, you will have a population explosion.  ep.gif

 

You might check with some rodent rescues here in NC and see if they'll do a courtesy listing for you.  Good Luck!

I know, I think my gf is gonna keep a few to feed to her snakes and my roomie wants to keep a black one, so if I can't find anyone that wants some I'll probably use them as chick treats.... has anyone done this? I read about it but had been a little nervouse to actually try it?
