I sent you a PM with the contact info.  And NC is HOT!! lol!! th.gif I like the summer because it's not freezing cold,(and the flowers and trees are in bloom and green and pretty, and the beach is nice, and suntans, etc....) but 100 degree days are just too much for me!!  90 is pushing the limit, too.  This is definately a preview of what's to come! Hopefully y'all were able to stay relatively cool-ish.

And my grandparents still don't have ac....though they live in upstate NY, it still gets pretty hot. I don't know how they do it, either.   idunno.gif

I love living in the mountians and by the lake! It only got to 78 here and we had a strong breeze. My chickens and I all layed in the grass and sunbathed! I hate the heat all together though and if I had it may way I'd live in fairbank Alaska! lol.png hope everyone get a break from the heat tonight!

oh YAY!!!  can I pick them up thursday?  I think I might have figured out what the toppy hen is.

I'm definately keeping the blue EE. That one was a nice surprise for sure, wasn't expecting blue this hatch. But then, I've also hatched (from the same source) two blue(ish) copper EEs with feathered legs. I'll have to get some pics of them. Black copper marans roo over ameraucana/EE hen.

LOL yep, she is a unique girl. No CLUE what she is but lays daily so I don't complain about her at all. She is medium sized and has a head and neck full of funky feathers. She lays a blue/green egg so i know there is Americauna in there somewhere.

I am lacking some clucking kids...need partridge silkies...anyone have any?  My frizzled cochin roo has dominated my silkie roo and I have NO offspring this year.  Anyone near Eastern NC with bearded BQ birds for sale?  I'll take adults, chicks or hatching eggs...keeping my fingers crossed!

Good Morning everyone.  We managed to semi-melt yesterday, today is going to be even worse!!  th.gif Good thing my babies are young enough to run around in nothing more than a diaper!!  LOL...sadly the same cannot be said for me!!  LOL.

Chicken question: When is a good time (what age) to introduce momma and baby back into the flock??  Is there anything I should be concerned about or on the look out for?!?

Thanks everyone.  Have a great day!!
