yeah its already here.. I am down to officially 4 hens I am looking for some color to add since the 4 left are production reds.  Thinking a barred rock, lavender orphington, americauna hen this time white maybe and something that lays dark brown eggs

Who knew this would be come an addiction!  I currently have 13 hens and 1 large light brahma rooster. We also have somelittle ones but as I have learned here they don't count.  I have started building coops to Sell.  I have come up with a company name Olde Tyme Coops hopefully it works out!

The rain has finally hit us, glad I was able to sneak out early this morning and pick some peas!!  Corn & Sunflowers are still going strong, as are my pumpkins and squash...the beans are trying, but something has eaten holes in the leaves, so I am not sure if they will make it sad.png... sadly my tomatoes, and peppers are desperately struggling hit.gif.  Why oh why do I have a black thumb?!?  I may give the garden a kelp bath in the near future, maybe that will help??!!  LOL...so who wants to come live with us and garden for us next year?!?  LOL

I'm a SAHM happily married to the man of my dreams with two DD (another due 7/2013), 1 cat, 3 Marans, 1 BSL rooster (NoName), 1 Misc. Rooster (Tyrone); 5 Ducks (Cadbury and his girls), 2 misc. young chicks, 12 pullets, etc.

Then proceeded to tear down the bird feeder and carry it off i found it up on the hill torn up[metal] did not do any damage to anything else and the coops are right there too. I stood the bird house back up with the baby birds still alive but barely, I sure hope the mommie bird comes back. So this after noon we'll be fixing the fence and replacing posts. I had just filled the feeder with sunflower seeds so it got a tasty snack.

Hey everyone!!!

I was wanting to see if anyone might be interested in some ducks! We were going to be building a pond for these guys but it looks like that isn't going to happen now so we would like to find them a new home. We have a pair of Pekins, they are about a year old and the hen is laying an egg every morning! The male is super sweet!!! He loves to sit in your lab and be petted. We also have 5 ducklings, 2 are pure pekins and 3 are peking/mallard mixes. We would like to see these guys go to good homes. They are pets!!! :)

I have 1 dog, 2 cats,  and 4 Chickens!
